Welcome to Far Reach Travel Inc.! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “your”) and Far Reach Travel Inc., doing business as “Far Reach Club” (“Far Reach Travel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing:

The items included in your Trip are set out in (i) your booking confirmation, (ii) the webpage for your specific Trip on the Website and (iii) an email we will send you fourteen (14) days before the Trip (together, the “Trip Details”). Please review the Trip Details in advance of your Trip to ensure you fully understand the itinerary, activities, pace and travel style.
Please carefully review and ensure you understand these Terms before booking a Trip with us. By booking a Trip, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not book a Trip with us.
Far Reach Club is a travel service provided by Far Reach Travel Inc. that curates and books international travel experiences focused on culture, atmosphere, connection and slower-paced adventure travel. Far Reach Travel acts as a travel agent that arranges and books travel and related services on your behalf. We accompany your travel group and facilitate your Trip.
Acting as a travel agent, we may arrange, facilitate, or book accommodation, transportation, events, meals, tours, sightseeing, activities and other travel-related products or services provided by third parties (for example, hotels, airlines, rail or ground carriers, tour operators, venues, guides, and activity providers) (collectively, “Third-Party Travel Services”).
Third-Party Travel Services are provided by the applicable third-party supplier, not by us. We do not own, operate, manage, or control any Third-Party Travel Services, and we do not make any representations or warranties regarding their availability, quality, safety, suitability, or compliance with applicable laws.
The Trip includes only the items expressly identified as included in the Trip Details, which may include the following provided by Third-Party Travel Services:
The Trip Details may be modified at any time without prior notice, and we are not liable for any loss, cost, damage, or inconvenience arising from any change to the itinerary or Trip Details. An activity that is not expressly identified as included in the Trip Details is an optional activity. We may recommend optional activities and, at your request, we may book optional activities on your behalf as your agent. Any optional activity we book for you is a Third-Party Travel Service, is not part of the Trip and is not included in the Trip Fees, must be paid for by you (either to us or directly to the supplier, as we advise at the time of booking), and is subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions, including its cancellation and refund policies. We are not obliged to book any optional activity and do not guarantee its availability.
You must be eighteen (18) years or older to book and participate in a Trip with us.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of any country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargo, and that you are not otherwise a person with whom dealings are prohibited under applicable sanctions or export control laws.
You are responsible for ensuring you have all required travel documents for each destination on the Trip, including a valid passport and any necessary visas, permits or certificates. Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months after the end of the Trip.
We are not responsible for, and you will not be entitled to any refund as a result of, any refusal of boarding or entry, or any delay or disruption where you lack the required documentation or are otherwise inadmissible or denied entry or exit by any authority.
A Trip booking is confirmed only when we have received the applicable Deposit or Trip Fees (as required and defined in Section 4.2 below) and we have issued you written confirmation of your Trip booking.
The person booking the Trip represents and warrants that they:
You acknowledge that we may rely on the information provided by you at the time of the Trip booking, and that you are responsible for any costs, losses or fees arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information.
Billing data is handled securely through Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store full payment card details. We accept major credit cards and major debit cards. “Trip Fees” means the total price for the Trip shown in your Trip Details, including any applicable fees.
All prices, Trip Fees, the Deposit and all other amounts payable to us are stated in, and must be paid in, US dollars (USD). You are responsible for any currency conversion charges, foreign transaction fees, or other charges imposed by your bank or card issuer, and we are not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations.
By booking a Trip, you agree to the following:
Far Reach Travel reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Trip at any time and for any reason in our sole discretion, including but not limited to:
If we cancel a Trip due to force majeure (including without limitation acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials), then notwithstanding the options set out below, we do not guarantee a full refund of any amounts already paid or committed to third-party vendors, and we are under no obligation to seek such refunds. In such case, we will refund you any amounts we are actually able to recover from third-party vendors, less any non-refundable amounts, supplier fees or penalties, and reasonable administrative fees, together with the excess (if any) of the amounts you paid over such committed costs.

50% of the Trip Fees retained (including Deposit)

No refund, except that we will refund any portion of the Trip Fees that exceeds the amounts we have actually paid or irrevocably committed to third-party suppliers for your Trip (otherwise 100% of the Trip Fees, including the Deposit, are retained)

The cancellation charges set out above represent a genuine pre-estimate of the losses and non-recoverable costs we incur as a result of your cancellation, and are not a penalty.
The above cancellation fees are in addition to any fees, charges, or penalties which may be levied by any Third-Party Travel Services.
Any portion of the Trip Fees (including the Deposit) not used or applied to a future Trip is non-refundable. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
No Refunds for Violations: If you violate these Terms, you will not be eligible for any refund.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and issued to the original payment method.
All Trips are subject to a minimum number of confirmed guests, as determined by us in our sole discretion. If the minimum number is not reached, we may cancel or reschedule the Trip to a later date. We will provide you with as much notice as reasonably possible using the booking contact details you provide us.
Our Trips are designed to foster a positive group atmosphere and respectful travel experience. We reserve the right to remove a guest from a Trip if we deem that such guest’s actions in our sole discretion:
The above list is not exhaustive. Far Reach Travel shall have the right, in its sole discretion (including any guide acting on its behalf), to remove or deny guests access to the Trip or any part of the Trip at any time, including in the event that a guest is showing symptoms of communicable disease or Far Reach Travel deems a guest to be a risk to other travellers or any other person. You are responsible for any costs, damages and expenses arising from your conduct.
Adventure travel requires flexibility and unforeseen changes may occur due to weather, transport disruption, local conditions, safety or other considerations. We reserve the right, at any time and in our sole discretion, to make reasonable changes to the Trip, the Trip Details or any itinerary or booking in connection with the Trip, including but not limited to changes to accommodation, transportation, included or scheduled activities, the route or order of destinations, timings, and local hosts or guides. We will use reasonable efforts to maintain the overall character and standard of the Trip.
You acknowledge that such changes may result in missed activities, missed connections, delays, or cancellations, and we are not liable for any missed flights or other transportation, missed activities, additional costs, or other loss or inconvenience arising from or relating to any such changes.
You are responsible for (i) ensuring that you are medically and physically fit to participate in the Trip, and for seeking advice from a qualified healthcare provider regarding your fitness to travel and (ii) obtaining advice on any health requirements and recommendations for the Trip destinations at least two months before the Trip begins.
You must inform us, in your booking form or in our pre-trip form (and promptly if anything changes before the Trip), of any mental or physical conditions that may affect your participation in the Trip or the experience of the group, including any:
Far Reach Travel reserves the right to decline a booking or to refuse or discontinue a guest’s participation in any Trip or portion of a Trip, where we reasonably believe the Trip or any portion of the Trip is unsuitable for the guest’s health, safety, or wellbeing. We do not provide medical advice. Guests remain responsible for managing their own health needs during the Trip and for any additional costs arising from undisclosed or unmanaged conditions.
If you have an allergy, you are responsible for carrying the necessary allergy medications (including an EpiPen) with you at all times and informing food providers of your allergies throughout the tour. It is your responsibility to carry all necessary medications and to keep them in your carry-on luggage during any air travel and ensure you have access to your medications whenever they are needed.
Far Reach Travel is not responsible for providing medical care, medications or supplies. It is your responsibility to keep yourself safe and exercise the same degree of care and judgement that you would if you were not travelling on a guided tour.
In advance of any Trip, you must obtain travel insurance at your own expense, which includes coverage for the following:
You must provide proof of the above insurance coverage through our pre-trip form no later than fourteen (14) days before the Trip starts. We strongly recommend that you also obtain trip interruption insurance (including trip curtailment). We also recommend you obtain coverage for personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. If you leave a Trip for any reason after it has commenced, we cannot provide any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a Trip, join the Trip after departure, or leave prior to Trip completion, no refund will be made.
If you do not obtain appropriate travel insurance or do not provide proof of it by this deadline, you may be refused participation in the Trip. We make no representation, warranty or guarantee in respect of the sufficiency or availability of coverage from any insurance provider.
We will only use photographs or videos in which you are identifiable in our marketing and promotional materials if you have opted in by ticking the photo consent box on our booking form or pre-trip form. The box is not pre-ticked, and opting in is not a condition of booking or participating in a Trip. If you opt in, you grant Far Reach Travel permission to take and use photographs of you and your participation in the Trip and to publish them in print or electronically without your further consent and without any recourse or compensation to you. Such photographs will be the property of Far Reach Travel.
You may withdraw your photo consent at any time by emailing oliver@farreachclub.com. We will then stop using your identifiable image in new marketing and promotional materials, but we cannot recall materials already published.
International flights to and from the destination where the Trip begins and ends are not included in the Trip Fees unless expressly stated in writing. You are solely responsible for arriving at the designated Trip start location on time and departing the Trip end location. We are not liable for any missed, delayed, cancelled, or rescheduled departures (including flights, trains, ferries, buses, or other transportation), or for any loss, cost, or liability arising from you missing any part of the Trip or incurring additional expenses as a result or for any reason.
The following are not included in the Trip or the Trip Fees and are your sole responsibility, unless expressly identified as included in the Trip Details or otherwise confirmed by us in writing:
This list is not exhaustive. You are responsible for arranging and paying for these items directly with the relevant providers.
The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party service providers, including Stripe (payment processing), Webflow (website hosting), Cloudflare (booking system), Airtable (booking records database), Klaviyo (marketing email and tracking), Resend (booking and payment emails), PDFMonkey (booking confirmation documents), Google Workspace, Google Drive and Google Analytics, and the Meta Pixel. Your use of these third-party services may be subject to their own separate terms of use and privacy policies. You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Far Reach Travel, including social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), and partner services and integrations.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or availability of any third-party websites, services, or applications.
These third parties have their own privacy policies and terms of use that govern their collection and use of your information. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites or services you visit or interact with. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party services, products, or content, and you access them at your own risk.
Third-Party Travel Services Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds. Third-Party Travel Services (defined in Section 2.2) may be changed, rescheduled, substituted, or cancelled by the supplier at any time. We are not liable for any such changes or cancellations. Any refunds, credits, or other remedies are subject to the Third-Party Travel Services’ terms and conditions and the amounts (if any) we are able to recover from them. We are not required to pursue a refund or credit from any Third-Party Travel Services, but if we receive any refund or credit from such Third-Party Travel Service in respect of your Trip, we will refund you the net amount received (less any non-refundable amounts, supplier fees/penalties, and any reasonable administrative fees disclosed to you) to your original payment method.
Third-Party Travel Services Terms Apply. Your use of any Third-Party Travel Services is subject to their terms and conditions (including rules, restrictions, waivers, health and safety requirements and cancellation and refund policies). You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those terms. You acknowledge that Third-Party Travel Services terms may limit or exclude their liability and may limit your remedies.
No Responsibility for Third-Party Travel Services. Travel and participation in events and activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to, risks associated with transportation, accommodation, venues, weather, terrain, equipment, crowds, illness, injury, crime, and the acts or omissions of third parties. We are not responsible for, and disclaim all liability arising from or relating to, any Third-Party Travel Services, including the services provided (or not provided) by Third-Party Travel Services, whether arising from the acts or omissions of the Third-Party Travel Services, other guests, or any other person.
Your Responsibility and Assumption of Risk. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to use or participate in any Third-Party Travel Services and for assessing your own health, safety, and comfort levels. You agree to use good judgment and to follow all applicable instructions, rules, and safety requirements of Third-Party Travel Services. You participate in and use Third-Party Travel Services at your own risk.
The Service, including the www.farreachclub.com website, and all related technology, software, features, functionality, designs, graphics, user interfaces, logos, trademarks, and other content provided by Far Reach Travel are owned by Far Reach Travel Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
“Far Reach Travel,” “Far Reach Club,” the Far Reach Travel logo, the Far Reach Club logo, and other Far Reach Travel marks, logos, and service names are trademarks of Far Reach Travel Inc. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.
If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other input regarding the Service or the Trip (“Feedback”), you grant us an unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into our Service or the Trip without any obligation to you. You agree that all Feedback is non-confidential and that we may use it for any purpose without attribution or compensation to you.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FAR REACH TRAVEL INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
We do not guarantee that any Trip, Trip Details, or Third-Party Travel Services we arrange, facilitate or book will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of any information you provide to us through the Service or otherwise transmit to us electronically, or that we store electronically in connection with the Service or the Trip.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FAR REACH TRAVEL INC., ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS (THE “FAR REACH TRAVEL PARTIES”) BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY:
WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT FAR REACH TRAVEL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF FAR REACH TRAVEL INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FAR REACH TRAVEL FOR THE TRIP (INCLUDING ANY TRIP FEES OR DEPOSIT) OR SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
By booking a Trip, using the Service or participating in any travel, activity, or event arranged, facilitated, or booked by us (including any Third-Party Travel Services), you acknowledge and accept that such participation may involve various risks, including but not limited to:
BY BOOKING A TRIP, USING THE SERVICE, OR PARTICIPATING IN ANY PART OF THE TRIP (INCLUDING ANY THIRD-PARTY TRAVEL SERVICES), YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE TRIP AND/OR THE SERVICE, WHETHER OR NOT DESCRIBED ABOVE, AND ALL RESULTING CONSEQUENCES.
The limitations in this Section 15 do not apply to:
You acknowledge and agree that the disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations in Sections 14 and 15 are essential elements of the agreement between you and Far Reach Travel, and that the Trip and the Service would not be provided to you without these limitations.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Far Reach Travel Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or relating to:
Far Reach Travel reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with Far Reach Travel in asserting any available defenses. You may not settle any claim without Far Reach Travel’s prior written consent.
You agree to promptly notify Far Reach Travel of any third-party claims subject to indemnification.
These Terms, the Trip and your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory consumer protection rights or remedies available to you under the laws of your country or place of residence that cannot be waived or excluded by agreement, and to the extent of any conflict, those mandatory rights prevail.
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us (Section 21) to attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email. If a dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days after submission, you or Far Reach Travel may bring a formal proceeding.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and you irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to these Terms, the Trip or the Service must be filed within two (2) years after such claim or cause of action arose, or it shall be forever barred, regardless of any statute or law to the contrary.
We may update, modify, or replace these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any material changes.
We will notify you of material changes to these Terms by:
Your continued use of the Service and participation in a Trip after the effective date of any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may not book a Trip with us and you must stop using the Service.
We may make non-material changes to these Terms (such as corrections of typos, clarifications, or formatting changes) without advance notice. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:
We will make reasonable efforts to provide you with notice before termination, except in cases involving violations of law, violations of these Terms, security concerns, or where notice is prohibited by law.
The following provisions shall survive termination of these Terms: 13 (Intellectual Property Rights), 14 (Disclaimers and Warranties), 15 (Limitation of Liability), 16 (Indemnification), 17 (Dispute Resolution), 19.2 (Survival), and 20 (General Provisions).
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or agreements incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Far Reach Travel Inc. regarding the Service and the Trip and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable.
No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or your rights and obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. Any attempted assignment, transfer, or delegation without such consent shall be null and void.
We may assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, without your consent, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
Far Reach Travel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials. In any such event, we may delay, modify, reschedule, substitute, or cancel the affected Trip or any part of it, and the refund and credit provisions in Section 5.1 will govern the consequences of any such cancellation.
To You: We may provide notices to you via email to the email address you provide when you book a Trip or by posting on the Service. You consent to receive electronic communications from us, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
To Us: See Section 21 for contact information. Notices to us must be sent by certified mail or email and shall be deemed effective upon receipt.
The section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
As used in these Terms, “including” means “including but not limited to.” The words “herein,” “hereof,” and “hereunder” refer to these Terms as a whole.
You acknowledge and agree that by clicking “I Accept,” “I Agree,” or a similar button or checkbox, or by booking a Trip or using the Service, you are electronically signing these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
